Regenerative Medicine at our Chiropractic Center

At Colorado Life-Changing Care, Dr. Tashiro use a variety of RM therapies in combination with each other for the fastest, most comprehensive healing effect. They include:

  • Dextro Neural Therapy: The injection of dextrose into cutaneous nerves in the skin to relieve entrapments caused by the surrounding tissues. The injected dextrose stimulates the nerve, freeing it from the entrapment and restoring its normal function. Cutaneous nerve entrapments contribute to approximately 80% of chronic pain syndromes in the head/face, arms/hands, legs/feet and spine. Unfortunately they are largely untreated in conventional health care, leading to a downward spiral of disability and despair for the chronic pain sufferer – UNTIL NOW! Good news for diabetics – this treatment will not raise your blood sugar levels!
  • IM Nutrition: The injection of nutrients into a muscle to support and activate your immune system.
  • IV Jumpstart: The injection of nutrients into a vein to support and activate your immune system. The staff will give you a list of the ingredients as well as self-care guidelines to maximize the benefits.
  • Ozone (O3)/Prolozone: The injection of ozone with or without Procaine, B-Complex and Rheumexalyn amino acids for the purpose of reducing pain and inflammation as well as increasing oxygen to stimulate a process of repair in the target tissue (i.e. a joint). Ozone can also be introduced into the body via nasal insufflation (sinus and lung issues), ear insufflation (brain support), and rectally (whole body support for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions). Ozone therapy has been used by European physicians for over 50 years, especially in Germany, where an estimated 30-40% of physicians use it. Prolozone is especially effective in treating degenerated joints and damaged/weakened tendons and ligaments. www.drsozone.com
  • Ozonated Clot Matrix (OCM): The injection of your blood into a target tissue. Unlike Platelet Rich Plasma, it does not involve the centrifugation of the blood. Ozone and nutrients are added to form a “clot matrix” that remains in the target tissue up to 14 days, stimulating repair.
  • Ozone Neural Therapy: The injection of small amounts of ozone just below the skin at strategic sites along the spine to boost the entire nervous system. Used for patients with a high degree of whole body dysfunction.
  • Scar Therapy: The injection of dextrose, ozone, or procaine into a scar to decrease the pain and binding associated with the scar, as well as the abnormal electrical output associated with scar tissue. Typically scars will soften and “relax” over a series of treatments, allowing the tissue to regain more of its natural texture. Occasionally, injection of a scar can trigger a brief recall of the trauma which caused the scar. Be sure to discuss any concerns you may have about this possibility with our providers.
  • Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP): A sample of your blood is withdrawn and centrifuged to concentrate the platelets. The “platelet rich plasma” is then injected into the area of need. The platelets mobilize 5 kinds of growth factors already in your body, accelerating the healing and repair of the target tissue.
  • Umbilical Cord Biological Allografts: Biological allograft injections are more accurately described as “Biological Allograft Therapy” in that they contain numerous substances that stimulate growth and repair. This includes collagen, tissue scaffolding, hyaluronic acid and growth factors. Biological allograft injections also stimulate the activity of your own stem cells! They are the most potent of all our Regenerative Medicine therapies.

Is Regenerative Medicine Enough?

RM therapies are not a silver bullet! To obtain maximum benefit your body must also be supported with comprehensive whole body measures. See the video below for details.
